Leonards Lane Park

Cambridge, Maryland

RAUCH, inc. is working with the City of Cambridge on their Leonards Lane Park project. The goal of this project is to create a vibrant and environmentally sensitive park space where residents can experience the outdoors through recreational activities, nature viewing, and outdoor learning.

Design features for this 6-acre property include creating wetlands for habitat and stormwater treatment, planting pollinator habitat, and establishing community gardens. Outdoor recreation amenities will include basketball, playgrounds, a wetland crossing, and multi-use surfaces for walkers and bicyclists of all ages.

Our firm has gathered community input on multiple conceptual designs, provided refinements based on public input, and presented a revised concept to the City Council which has received final approval. Our scope of work also includes 100% construction drawings and construction documents that include cost estimates and specifications.
