KRM Corporate Headquarters & Campus (Dixon Valve)

Our scope of work for the 100,000 sq. ft. headquarters building included incorporation of a slab on-grade foundation system, full mechanical systems, insulation, and a sprinkler system. The façade design included aesthetic enhancements for cohesiveness with the other buildings on the campus.
The Pre-Design phase included: establishing program goals, developing a project schedule and budget, assessment of existing conditions, establishment of all parameters related to planning and zoning, site setbacks, lot coverage, septic and current building codes. The Schematic Design phase included: design elements presented as building plans and elevations and meetings to review plans and revisions with the client. The Design Development phase included: creation of production documents, including building code sheets, sections, interior elevations, door and window schedules, light fixtures, and HVAC equipment schedules; power, lighting, and ductwork plans. The Construction Documents phase included: full construction documents, permit applications and bid sets; compilation of bid sets and selection of general contractor; RFI review; planning commission and regulatory meeting coordination. The Construction Administration phase included: oversight of project construction including review of submittals, RFIs, change orders, site visits, quality control and all progress meetings.
Our MEP engineering services scope of work was design of HVAC system for entire facility, preparing load calcs and verifying system size and specifications, electrical, determining parasitic loads and distribution transformer design, interior and exterior lighting layout, outlet and subpanel locations, code requirements, sewer and water layouts and connections, plumbing connections, including exterior hose connections, fixtures, water heater schedule, code requirements, domestic water and waste and vent plumbing plan, project specs, and full construction documents.
