Ryan Soccer Field

RAUCH, inc. provided preliminary engineering and final site design for the Ryan Soccer Field renovation at Moton Park in Easton, Maryland.

This public park project includes improvements for a U10-sized soccer field and shielding for an existing basketball court. Our scope of work included civil site plans, grading and drainage plans, environmental services, environmental review with state regulatory agencies, landscaping recommendations, and stormwater management design, permitting, and final site plans.

Woodland Park

RAUCH inc. was retained by the Town of Easton for the Easton Woodland Park project after the Town received a $5M Program Open Space Stateside grant to acquire a 197-acre parcel on Oxford Road.

The RAUCH inc. team provided professional engineering, surveying, and environmental services for the project.

Features in our design work include a wetland creation area, a woodland trail, a reforestation area, wildlife meadow, a meadow trail, a green infrastructure corridor connection area, and expanded landscaping for wetland, reforestation, and wildlife meadow areas.
Deliverables included a wetland delineation, Forest Conservation Plan and Simplified Forest Stand Delineation, topographic survey, soil erosion and sediment control plan, site and grading plan, stormwater management with onsite drainage directed to BMP facilities, a utility plan, a landscape buffer plan, and a photometric plan for site lighting.

Rails to Trails Expansion

RAUCH, inc. provided civil engineering, design, survey, environmental services, and permitting services for Phase II and Phase III of the Town of Easton’s Rails to Trails trail expansion. Phase II extended the existing rail trail from Aurora Street to Tubman Drive and Phase III connected Port Street to Aulds Alley.

Our scope of work included existing conditions surveys, base sheet creation, structural review of a retaining wall, stormwater management design, wetlands investigations, and pedestrian footbridge design. We provided complete design plans, utility and utility relocation plans, and coordinated permit approvals with the Town of Easton, the Maryland Department of Transportation, the Maryland Department of the Environment, and other relevant agencies.

The trails include benches, landscaping, and American Disabilities Act (ADA) accessible features.
